Well let me see,
I remember hearing of a lady that I belive received a broken pelvis, I think she was thrown around when her car flipped on it,s side, and another ended up with a drink machine I belive falling on their leg and another I know received a serious knee injury that to this day she has had 2 surgeries on that knee and still has some problems with it. That is what I know of or remember.
I belive the train was just starting to accelrate when the derailment occurred, I belive the train was running about 40-45 mph and starting to accelrate. I was not really thrown from my seat, but I did kind of slide out with the sudden decelration of the car.
hope this answers some more questions for you and I am off tomorrow to the kenova area taking mom home for her 50 year class reunion in ohio,so I am hoping to get some good pics done and hope to chat with O. Ford who happens to know my mother, he has advised me on some good locations for pics.
Safe and happy summer to all

                                                  Stephen

  Mr. Daniel,
Thanks for relating this story. You mentioned serious
injuries. What were the most serious injuries that
  day?

  >From your description, it sounds like the train was
traveling at a fairly low speed. Were you thrown from
  your seat during the accident?
