Crane Tenders

Gary,
 I am glad I am not the only one noticing this apparently missed detail. I am intrigued to learn that they were placed on flat cars. I wonder, now, if that was the common practice. I think however, I will use an actual tender. however, since I have 3 crane kits to build (each will be different), I will probably mix them up for variety. Thanks for your input.
