Jimbo -

I think ALL the class I engines were converted to 0-8-0.  I don't recall
seeing a W 0-8-0, but that doesn't mean none existed.  I'm still trying to
find a photo of the W with Walschaerts valve gear, and the other one with
the Allfree-Hubble cylinders.

I thought I saw a photo in the N&W mag years ago of a G with Baker gear.  Do
you recall it?
